Experience
Bernadette has an established track record of successfully leveraging a collaborative leadership style and strategic planning skills to deliver highly successful L&D projects for global educational and training organisations. Recently she reformed attitudes and approaches to online learning at the TAFE Queensland Language and Literacy Department, and has worked on a number of Learning and Development/Instructional Design projects for State and Federal Governments. Previously as Digital Content Strategy Director at Oxford University Press, she led the concept creation, design and launch of a successful education product delivered in multiple modes across multiple markets. In her role as Publishing Director at Macmillan Education, she had led the alliance of multiple fractioned divisions to form a JV publishing company in China.
Bernadette holds a Master's degree in Business Administration specialising in Human Resource Management, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) as well as a Post-Graduate Bachelor of Education. Bernadette is completing a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and has a strong interest in supporting growth of LLND skills in the Australian VET sector to meet current and future employment skill needs.
